Mr. Hirschorn was born in Far Rockaway, New York in 1946, he graduated from Hofstra University in 1968 (BA English), and from SUNY-Buffalo School of Law in 1971 (J.D.).

Mr. Hirschorn served in the U.S. Army and reached the rank of Captain (Field Artillery).

He has been at Siegel, Kelleher and Kahn since 1972. He concentrates his practice in the area of matrimonial law, where he handles cases involving divorce, custody, support and equitable distribution of assets.

Mr. Hirschorn is the former chairman of the Matrimonial and Family Law Committee of the Bar Association of Erie County. He has been a re-certified fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and has served on the Executive Committee of the Family Law Section of the New York State Bar Association and has been named to each and every edition of "The Best Lawyers in America". Mr. Hirschorn has lectured frequently statewide at various continuing legal education seminars.
