Mr. O'Connell is an experienced trial lawyer in the law firm of Siegel, Kelleher & Kahn, LLP.  He practices exclusively in the area of civil litigation including personal injury, medical malpractice, products liability and general civil matters.  Mr. O'Connell is a tireless advocate on behalf of the civil justice system, having represented the interests of his injured clients before the United States Congress, the New York State Legislature, Federal Courts and State Courts of the State of New York.

Mr. O'Connell received his BA degree from Canisius College and his JD degree from Case Western Reserve University, School of Law.  He is past president and member of the Board of Directors of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association for the Western Region, an organization devoted exclusively to preserving the American Civil Justice System and representing interests of injured persons.  He is a member of the Trial Bar Section of the American Association for Justice, the Western New York Trial Lawyers Association, the New York State Bar Association and the Erie County Bar Association.  Mr. O'Connell is admitted to practice law in all Courts of the State of new York and is admitted to practice in the Federal Courts in the Western District of New York and the Northern District of New York.

Mr. O'Connell is further very active in numerous civic and cultural activities throughout the Western New York area.
